Tessa & Kris Married! | GWP Destination Weddings

Nearly everyone knows that the leaves changing and the air cools to a refreshing crispness means that autumn is right around the corner. This is most evident in upstate New York. The tree tops turn to those familiar fall colors and it becomes sweater weather. For those from Northeastern towns, this is one of the most wonderful times of the year. Tessa and Kris loved it so much; they planned their beautiful wedding on a cool autumn day in Homer, New York. It was one of those days where the sun kept you warm with a little chill and then later that night, the dancing and company kept you warm. Their day was filled with love, family and even a dove release! Quite a way to start their life together!
Tessa was a blast to photograph and really enjoyed her day. I don’t think I have ever seen a bride laugh and enjoy her day that much. It was great! Kris was equally hilarious. We picked up on that at the rehearsal when Kris and groomsmen walked out to the Star Wars Imperial March song! We were laughing so hard, it was perfect for him! The venue for the reception was a stunning two story Stick/Eastlake style structure, rectangular at the core, with surrounding verandahs and a jutting pavilion at each corner, on Little York Lake. It was perfectly decorated with Autumnal decorations and had a great airy feel to it. Tessa and Kris danced the night away amongst friends and family and really made us feel welcome! The sincere thank you Gregg and I received from the new couple at the end of the night was very much appreciated! We had an amazing time and hope you enjoy the photos!

The doves are in their hands!

And there they go!
